He runs across the dusty plain
Not afraid to show his true self
... Too much pain
Forever wanting to be himself

Legs as strong as gum trees
Brain as delicate as a dames
Fur as brown as coffee
He simply has no name

Unwanted he was before
Used for slavery
Torture, and more
The word that describes him best is bravery

Enjoying every moment
Not caring about what the future holds on its shelf
This moment has been lent
From the heavens itself
