The moon shines brightly in the sky
As each of the days slowly pass by
The stars glistening, shimmering above
Listening to the cooing of the baby dove.
The gentle breeze which touched his fur
Made him twitch and wake up with a purr
He gazed at the lonely, empty night sky
Hearing dogs howl and the crows cry.
He wondered what happens in the world below
Stories that people have to tell and show
The legends and myths of the mortal world
Slowly uncovering, slowly unfurl.
The story of Santa and his beloved reindeers
The story of werewolves, vampires and other fears
And so every night when the darkness grew
Under the moon, these stories come true.
