Waves crash above the reef
So many creatures lurk in the deep.
If we don’t manage to keep it clean.
You won’t see such a pleasant scene.
All the colours will disappear
You won’t see a red-throat appear.
Plastic, cardboard and tin
Should all be put in the nearest bin.
At the very least, pick up your litter
Then the sea won’t turn dark and bitter
Colourful coral belongs in the sea
Not on someone’s mantelpiece.
What on earth does the future hold?
Recycle your rubbish, you’re being told
To keep the sea clean and blue
In the end it’s up to me and you.
