Descending before us
Slowly eating us up
Jumps out of nowhere
Forces us to be tough.
As it crawls up
Unprepared we fight
Slowly strangling us
With all its might.
Battle scars are shown
Like an art display
For we fight
Until our souls decay.
Polluting our world
Until our final breath
It reigns over us
The messenger of death.
