A gunshot is fired.
One after the other they fall,
Then one after the other they bleed.
The sound so powerful,
Yet it to is drowned.
By no other than the battlefield.
The conflict after conflict.
The pain and the anguish.
The screaming and tears.
The suffering.
All drowned,
By that one sound.
A gunshot is fired.
