Alone in a room where the light is dim and so dark,
Stands a samurai who is angry like an raging black shark,
My soul is chattering and covered with fear,
My heart is thumping and my face shows tears,
Booming knocks from the big wooden door,
Causing slight rumbles to attack from the floor,
The samurai advances, his sword in the air,
His clothes are ragged and he gives me a glare,
I draw out my sword for a slashing defence,
As I get ready for attack, I feel my heart tense,
The samurai’s hit! He stumbles, a wound on his arm,
Even though he is angry, he’s trying to stay calm,
He gets up, groaning, with anger and despair,
He hits me with a crunch, causing my shoulder to tear,
I get the next strike in, that brings him down to his knees,
He realises I am the samurai now and decides to flee.
