My Autumn Flight


The howling of the wind,
Brings the leaves down from the trees,
The colours around me so lovely and bright,
Now I know that autumn's in sight,
The sound of the crunching leaves,
leaves me walking away with ease,
until the final gust of wind came and slapped me off my feet,
and made me fly through the air as though I was an autumn leaf,
now Autumns almost over,
and winters soon to come,
oh how much I'll miss the colours,
Autumn was so much fun.
