Saying goodbye could be the hardest thing,
Looking back we say stuff we don’t really mean,
We have some good times and we have some bad,
We cried over it all which made us sad,
We were always ourselves never pretend,
We were there for each other till the end,
We never told each other secrets and promises to keep,
Which other friends didn’t and made us weep,
We were always there with a shoulder to cry on,
We were the kind of friend that we can rely on,
As we go our different ways,
I know we will think about each other every day.
