The scariest things you have ever seen
Are floating and falling in front of your eyes
Who knows what they might hide
Splish, splash
Drip, drop
Is there really anything wrong with that lot?
Rumble, grumble
Bang, crash
What in the world was that flash?
Through the sky and onto the earth,
If only you had a very large purse.
For the little white dog would squish and squirm,
Into the safe haven, waiting to return.
But until then she would have to wait,
As the rain outside was not her mate.
