Young men, old men,
Rounded up, packaged, sent,
Robbed of every cent,
Denied their rights,
Given no chance to fight.
Young men, old men,
Souls aching, spirits beaten,
No jury will hear, no judge will listen,
Savagely, from loved ones torn,
Their hearts forever forlorn.
Young men, old men,
Trapped with no friend,
Do not turn the bend,
Entering the den,
Marching to their end.
(This poem is about prisoners in a concentration camp during the holocaust.)
