He packed his bag and said goodbye to his wife his love,and thanked the lord above.They said goodbye as they hopped onto the ship to war.
A smile that will fade away when the horror of war starts.
BOOM! Went the first gun shot. This was no time for fun. The soldiers knew it was time, to rise, become a hero and save Australia.They tried and tried
cried and cried for their friends in Flanders field. Gun shots, shot them.
Some went home and some never returned.
Now in Flanders field the poppies blow,
The crosses row on row.Short days ago we lived
Felt dawn
Saw sunset glow
Loved and were loved
Now lie in Flanders field
We shall not sleep
But poppies grow
In Flanders field
