A single little hope, really more a thought,
Twirled around her brain and twisted through her mind,
It stayed unnoticed for what felt like and eternity
But slowly it grew bigger, until it could no longer hide under her shadows
The spark had become a small flame that had no intent on dying
It fed off her ideas, twisting around her head and branching out far beyond
And then it learned instead, to use feelings as a food
So it swirled around her down to her heart and found a whole new sense to relish
But far to soon it was too big to stay in only one place, so it split into two, one staying at the heart The other returning to the brain,
So it could experience both at once, and it was magical thing
But once again it grew too big, so each of the two parts, split again into four more, and soundlessly There where eight of them inside her, yet she still did not know
In what felt like only hours, she was more it than her, the little hope was big. And it consumed her.
