A mirror is placed before you in a golden, pristine frame.
It lures you towards it, and changes your name.
From this name branches a label, one that is commonly used.
A label that society can accept, change and abuse.
The label is a key to dread, guilt and fame,
The label is a guide to the depression lane.
However, the benefits of the label are very easily ignored.
It does not come with shackles, chains or laws.
Rewrite the book, rewrite your name.
In society it's all the same.
Happiness is a journal where pages are rare.
Sadness is a diary with pages that tear.
So just for once, why not take a page from the journal and step out of the mirror?
Why not smile for once and accept that this glass only distorts what you wish to be thicker or thinner?
