I Am Sick

I am sick,
My nose feels thick.
My throat is sore,
I can’t feel the floor.
I read a book,
But I just feel crook.
Can’t go to school,
That would be cruel!
I call to my mum,
"My toes have gone numb!"
My mum comes in,
And lifts my chin,
She say’s “I think you’ll be okay”
With her, she has a tray……
Jelly and Ice Cream on a plate….
All of a sudden, I feel GREAT!!!
