I open the door and tremble in fear.
I know what I’m hiding from must be near.
I remember mums words “Remember Charlie do not fear.”
I remember looking at her with a sneer.
Suddenly it jumped out to get me!
I fell to the ground and saw it looked like a big flea!
I quickly stood up and ran down the hall!
Before being clumsy and had another big fall.
I look behind me it’s still coming!
As it got closer I could tell it was humming.
“This is the noise you’ll make when you die.”
“I’m not scared of you your just a pesky flea fly!”
I start to run again once more.
Once more it caught me and I fell to the floor.
It put me on a stick with fire, I’m humming with a sigh.
“You were right, that is the song I hum whilst I die
