Nature is beautiful, I realise as I stared down from the mountain,
The lush grass, dancing with the dew of the morning,
The air, so clean that it turns every breath into an outburst of pleasure,
The breeze, ever so gentle, allowing the sweat patches on my body to take on the sensation of life,
The sky, ablaze as Apollo rises sleepily from his den,
The water, so beautiful as it grabbes hold of the sky,
And the cliff face, so broad as it splays against the ever slightly rising sun,
But as nature dies, as we mistreat,
This wonderful spot, will suffer our heat
