Let's Make Dreams Come True

Martin Luther King Jr once said that he had a dream,
that injustice would do the opposite of spread,
but shrink to not being there at all.
But that was many years ago,
and although the situation has improved
there are still many taking the hard blows,
of discrimination, injustice and poverty.
We need to strip away the color of skin,
The race to which they belong,
They belong in the world we’re in
And we need to see they’re just like us.
What’s unfortunate is that some harsh souls,
think it’s okay to buy and sell people as slaves,
to work them until they’re covered in ash and coal.
But this is not fair, this is not right, and is not just.
