When I was young I never really thought too much about the future
I figured it would all work out for the best
I’d have a nice job doing something cool
I’d live in a nice house
I’d travel around and
I’d have awesome experiences
I realise now my grip on the cost of life wasn’t too strong
But I also realised dreams can change
And I realised that it’s okay to aim a little lower
I probably won’t finish high school as the empress of the world living in a huge mansion with a family of lovers
But I’d still be happy if I was always learning and moving forward, living in a little place with just you
