A Friend

A friend is someone you can trust with secrets and a lie,
A friend is someone you can look straight in the eye.
If you have no friends, you must be blind,
Throughout your life you will find.
Friends surround you, even if you don’t know.
Friends will be there, even if you say no.
Friends are people you enjoy being around,
Even if you’ve got a frown.
A friend is a pal and a mate who puts a smile on your face.
There’s much more to a friend “don’t you know?”
Even when you argue, they’ll come around,
Like a baby plant in the ground.
If you and your friend are separated,
Stay in touch by social or local,
While you make new friends.
