Helping Mum to plan and bake,
Put one more candle on my cake.
Birthdays are a special time.
Best of all, this day is mine!
Friends arriving at the gate,
All dressed up and looking great.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hear them shout.
Light the candles. Blow them out.
Gifts and cards with birthday wishes,
Party food that looks delicious.
Chips, lollies and orange jelly,
Too much sugar in my belly!
Party games with lots of fun,
And lots of prizes to be won.
Pass the parcel round and round,
Throwing wrappers on the ground.
