I shimmer and shine across the sky,
I wink at my friends as they pass on by,
On their journey to dust and glory,
I kiss the starry sky good-night,
As dawn arrives with its first light,
For the moon and I it's time to sleep,
We'll be back tonight there's no need to weep.
