Ode To A Book

If you turn on the light,
It will shine very bright,
And then you can look,
At the special book.

You have to read,
To be in the lead,
It could be about a bug,
Or a big hug.

Or it could be about a dog,
Sitting on a log,
It doesn’t really matter,
You just have to chatter.

If you go outside,
You have to hide,
From the big kites,
After we turn off the lights.
