I am the moon

I am the moon,
I love to be the centre of attention,
I think all the stars are jealous,
I sleep at day and wake at night,
I shine, shimmer and show at midnight,
I am a guiding light in the dark sky,
I go FLASH! When I rise,
I love when people see me,
I am the moon.
