On that horrible day
Sisters Libby and May
Had to clean up their room
(It's every child's doom)
Libby said they should get mum back
So no time did they lack
When they stole the pearl necklace
And only me (Tess)
Saw them as they dug up the ground
Where they thought it'd never be found
So I went to tell mum
And she told them to come
They got a fierce talking-blow
This just goes to show
What happened next is what we shall not speak
But you can safely know that Tess is a sneak
