Their hush descends in foggy mist
And blankets the world below
Shroud in darkness the trees sway
Leaving no path for
The unwary traveler
To follow
Their song rises on spiraling air
And reaches the starry night
Wind and pounding rain
Hiding all traces of
The faint wing-beats
Of flight
The flame of hope ahead is brightening
Brightening on the hearth
Penetrating the darkest fears
When you walk you own path
