Three cheers for those who have seen the light above
Three cheers for those who have got their one true love
Three cheers for those who can chart the times ahead
Three cheers for those who sleep well in bed
Because it’s these guys who have fought on many battlefields
It’s these guys who really know what it feels to be
Fought, hated,
Loved, played with
Even lost their only one true love
So good on them for looking high above
Because it’s these legs that we strive to stand on
It’s these feelings that we know belong
So take back the wars and stop standing on their shoulders
Take back the things that you forced on their families
And take back the hard times that you forced on their story
Because these guys deserve the Fairytale
