As I hesitantly step the floorboards creak
The house seems to welcome me in
I look around anxiously
Very Careful not to be seen

Spiders hang from every wall
Portraits seem to nastily smile
The light disappears
And dust lies in a messy pile

Scared, I step into a bedroom
Only to see the faded photo of the old dead man
Who lived here and died a mystery death
I go out and never go in there again

I ran out of the place
And no way did I ever go in there once more
To anyone that wants to go in
I always tell them it wouldn’t be worth it to open the door
