Dear Future Generations

I'm sorry, for not thinking about tomorrow,
And now I'm sitting here in sorrow,
About all the nature I borrow,
But honestly could never return.
I'm sorry, for investing so much in technology,
And not thinking about the apology,
We should be writing the next few generations,
Who will suffer the destruction of this nation.
I'm sorry, for catching airplanes to vacations,
Instead of taking time and patience,
To think dearly about the foundations,
We set the future generations.
And I'm mostly sorry, for not using my intelligence,
For not treating this planet with gentleness,
Helping this planet become one huge barren skeleton,
For the future generations.
