Woven words of darkness,
Suffocating the silent sky,
Sounding louder than screams,
Sun dipping lower with each cry,

Blanket of near black blue,
Blocking out more and more light,
Forcing the sun into hiding,
Just like every other night,

The moon brighter than the stars,
Scars, silences, steals sunbeams,
Living off the sun’s lost aurora,
While everyone else dreams,

Dawn dooms, dim sun on the horizon,
As she rises to bring light to the day,
Hiding from the sky,
How she’s losing all her rays,
