If I cut open your head
And search through your brain
Will I ever find out
What it is that you’re thinking
Can I dig into your thoughts
Feel around for your emotions
I could spill your guts on the floor
And tear your heart out
Trace your veins, Taste your lips
Will I finally know then
What it is that you’re thinking
