Bathurst Race
Come all you rounders if you want to hear
The story of a brave V8 driver
Craig Lowndes was the drivers name....
On the four wheeler, boys, he won his fame
The pit stop called Lowndes at lap 24
He kissed his wife out the car door
He buckled up at the pits with the orders in his hand
And he took his farewell trip to that Bathurst win
He looked at his oil and his oil was low
He looked at his watch and his watch was slow
He turned to his mic and this is what they said
"Boy, we're going to reach the final lap but this car will be dead"
He turned to the mic he said wish the wife a happy life I am finishing this race
Stick your head out the window, see the roaring crowd
I'm going drive her til she crosses that line
For I’m 8 seconds behind the guy in first place.
