My mum said he would be back,
but the tears in her eyes told everything.
My heart pounded and I thought it would crack.
I felt his pain, the pain went ping.

In my head I saw a gun,
it was truly, very sad.
someone held it with their thumb,
pointing it at my Dad.

My face was whitening, Was it real?
But the tears in my eyes told everything.
without him I couldn’t think how I’d feel,
My heart felt pain, the pain went ping.
