You'll Never Change.

My heart still aches;
With the feeling that you'll never love me again.
Tears still streaming down my face,
Why do I continue to let you hurt me in this way?
You'll never change.
Even though I can wish it, my wish will never come true.
My feelings will never change as long as you don't love me.
You say people change, so why won't you?
Maybe, perhaps, you feel change or perhaps, you fear that they will not accept you for who you love.
You live a double life;
One minute you're warm as a blanket,
The next you're cold as ice.
Yet, I still love you.
Though you may have flaws and you may never change, I still have faith in you.
I will always love you even though you'll never love me.
So maybe I should just give up on you.
Maybe it would be easier, maybe it would harder, but it has to hurt less than trying to hold on to you.
