Never have I ever been so glad to be different,
From them or even you for the reasons I have listed
With compassion and consideration of a person's dream,
Of the life that they always wanted where everything's as it seems.
Never have I ever, met such a person so cruel,
Turning back the boats, using nothing as their fuel
When we could save lives with the land we have to spare,
Yet you say to send them back, you really don’t care,
Never have I ever, wanted to help so much more,
To reach out and break through the once tightly locked door,
These people need our help, their begging on their knees,
But you all turn them all away, laughing at their pleas
Never have I ever, put my faith to someone mistrusted,
Never have I ever been so mortified and disgusted.
Never have I ever, been so embarrassed,
Of being an Australian people of such callous,
