Salt stings your eyes,
Forget about the loss, the lies,
Wave after wave,
Its my soul you can save.
Dive into yet another swell,
Inside your hurting but no one can tell,
Wave after wave,
Stay strong, be brave.
Sand in between you toes,
Your true self you can finally expose,
Wave after wave,
Break your chains, no longer a slave.
Drowning your sorrows in the bay,
Anything to forget that you didn't stay,
Wave after wave,
You have given nothing, yet all to you I gave.
