Loss is like a flood, dragging you down
With your world
You close your eyes as you are taken down
You awake paralysed, you look at your feet
Chained in a sea of doubt
Not seeing the light, but only the dark
You look up but find nothing
You look for light, but only a twinkle
A hand breaks the surface
Like a duck swimming on water
A hand of help
A hand of light
Bringing you up
You see the light
