Emotions Are A Thing, That's True – For Every Me And Every You

Sorrow is not crying
It's deeper than that, you'll find
Sorrow is too sad to loose a tear;
sitting, watching your life fly by.

Joy is being who you are,
not hoarding butterflies in jars.
smiling at the small things,
happy you're alive.

Anger froths away inside
affecting only you,
until it's released to the world,
a shout, a yell, the pleas unfurl.

Fear somewhat links them all,
bringing anger and sorrow to bet
but joy's the only thing
that will have it banished.
