A Child's plea

Arguements, yelling,
There's no telling,
Who will be told off next?
Children, the secrets they hide,
Afraid if they tell,
Parents leave with the tide,
As they lie in bed at night,
They close their little eyes up tite,
Hoping that, in the mornig,
Both parents will still be there yawning,
Do not put your boy or girl,
Through this terribly horrible whirl.
