Stitched up lies behind the soft skin victim, blood stains and bruises all seen through the eyes. Too strong to let go, too weak to be here
Why do you take this? Let them win all the time, they will always be the lies you saw in yourself. Give it out, let the truth be heard. Let your wounds and scars do the talking because you never will. Violence was never the answer in your book. Then why take it now, being abused day after day. Your so weak now, humbled to the ground. Can't say anything but why me now
You keep letting the thoughts creed you in like a rock caving in, like him or her throwing you in, punching you out, nothing but the screaming sounds
Keep it bottled up inside until one burst makes one impact
One impact makes a cry, you are unknown your cries won't be heard
If you take the step, don't you regret. Take one deep breathe, take one step
Leave the past to its present again and again, I don't think so
Let every piece of light heal you not the piercing known voices that hurt you
Let it dissolve you up. Let your tears rain on the cusps of your hurt
Be the movement you want to see in the world, change the circumstances, be afraid but be brave to just let go, the longer you hold on, the more pain and scars will come. So wrap that bandaid of strength onto the frail hidden bruises you left bleeding. Violence isn't the answer but voicing your truth is
