I am determined and ready,
I wonder if winning will make people proud,
I hear the people screaming in encouragement,
I want to win,
I am determined and ready.
I pretend I'm at the Olympics,
I feel the bitter taste of victory,
I touch the gold medal in my hands,
I worry about the worst possibilities,
I cry at wasting all my hard training,
I am determined and ready.
I understand you don't always win,
I say that what you believe can come true,
I dream that nobody can catch me,
I hope that I will win,
I am determined and ready.
