There once was a shadow in the desert, which trotted on all fours, And even though he had many mates, He only walked on paws.
He was formed in the harsh Aussie desert, or at least that’s what they say, He was friends with most of the miners, who got very little pay.
He went right around Australia, hitching rides in peoples cars, He was even spotted in Japan, and then relaxed in the Aussie bars.
He was only asking one question, have you seen John?
But as he went on his trip, people just looked on.
But when he finally went home, He realised one thing, That John was gone, but always will be with him.
