Tear filled wells of longing times
The weeps of youth and widows’ cries
Though night long dreams of different paths
Truth for more in lovers’ wrath.
Metal hung and bellows wrung
More for life and deep dark night
Men whose kin have gone astray
Might have lost their witless gain.
For trite nor origin, love is more
Further for gain and chilling rain
Fright be clear to please the people
Furious to love bloodless lust.
Like mourners’ gardens left alone
Leeches suck marrow and bone
Long gone saneness nigh belong
Lengthy ideals when day is gone.
