Excellence Award in the 'Beyond Words 2015' competition

I tried to play football,
I applied for every club.
They said they would not permit me,
They said I was too dumb.
The players then told me,
To kick a goal from 50 out.
They knew I could not do it,
That made me scream and shout.
They said their final word was ‘no’,
They said I was not bold.
That made me scream and shout again,
Poor me, the 2 year old.
