The Essece Of Remembrance

This is the date in days and hours,
Where the firing that had came in showers,
Had ceased, this is no lie,
It had brought peace for you and I,
In this field, poppies aplenty,
Lay men the age, of mere twenty,
They lay wounded, full of pride,
For they knew the reason of which they died,
For their country, almighty Australia,
And their efforts were far from a failure,
It was not patriotism of in anyway slavery,
But just an act of pure bravery.
