Melody was a happy child.
There’d always be a smile on her face,
and her eyes would be full with glee.
But, when she grew up, this was not the case.
You see, the bullying, it started in year nine.
She had glasses, braces, they called her a nerd,
a hypocrite, fat, wide-eyed, dull and fake.
They would tell her she was fugly, like a turd.
From then on, she lost all of her confidence,
like she lost her personality, dreams and soul.
Melody – she felt terribly trapped,
like she was stuck in a black, bottomless hole.
She was tired and empty and knew it had to stop.
Melody tried to seek death, so she searched all the lands.
But, that’s precisely when Death found Melody,
lying limp, with both a letter and knife in her hands.
