Pancakes For Breakfast

Dad and I
Getting the ingredients into the electric mixer
Flour, vanilla and milk
Vrrrrrrr goes the electric mixer
Until the pancake mixture is ready
Dad puts the mixture on the frying pan
Which is on the gas stove
“Breakfast is ready”
I yell out to everyone.
I get the sweet sugar
Lemon juice and
The marvellous maple syrup
Yum yum.
