Tears

You try to wash off my makeup
To find someone else
But all you do is smudge it
To hide my inner self
You come and go, like sun and snow
Fastening as you fall
Sometimes you never come at all
It's getting harder to see your stains
There's nothing there
As if it never rains
You make my eyes sore, you never come anymore
I feel dried out, there's nothing, not even shouts
But even when I do, it ends all too soon
I let a few fall, until there's nothing there at all
I cannot be broken to make me ponder
Cause the tears don't fall any longer
