I hope I could see a rainbow
I hope I could see a tree
I hope I could feel the wind blow
from beneath me
I hope I could swim in the sea
I hope I could hear my mum calling
me
These things and more
We used to adore
For she is no longer here anymore
Going it alone
Has a colour of it own
only a feeling left to roam
nowhere for it to go home
like mum, gone so far away
hoping she will find a place to stay
until we meet up again some day
in that place so far away
