If you peek through the night,
You'll see her curled up tight,
You'll hear her sad howling songs.
For she is the lone wolf,
She fights her own battles.
There is no help for her,
For she is the lone wolf,
She has a brave face.
Eyes full of hope,
But when the hunt is over.
Sad eyes look down,
Till she throws back her head and howls.
Her songs are beautiful but so sad,
She shall keep singing her songs,
As long as she is the lone wolf.
