Sipping vodka in the park, she is nestled in the stars
Acid, glitter and teenage dreams discarded in this wasteland.
Cigarettes and soda pop, he sits upon the rooftops
Millennial child, please come home. I know you feel alone
I know.
A pretty girl by his side, we trust that she will turn out fine.
Skinny jeans and graphic tees, tell me what is meant to be.
But every wave falls the same
You and I will never change
Drinking spirits form our sippy cups, with ribbons in our hair.
Millennial child, keep it together. For this fear and loathing won’t last forever.
Blow your smoke and take a bow
Your youth has just begun
